Boy do I know that feeling!
If you are a perfectionist like me you need to make sure everything is cleaned up around you before you can really do anything. Then on top of that you have to take care of the dog, run the kids to practice, attend games, make dinner, keep your hubby happy, help your in-laws, have extra kids over and find time for you! It never ends. I totally understand. You feel like NO one else in the house cleans up ANYTHING and all they continually do is make messes. YUP! Been there too!
Well I have learned a system that has helped me let go of some of my OCD, delegate tasks, empower my kids and husband, and get SHIT done!
One of the most important things you can do is spend time with those you love but when you are so busy they seem to get pushed to the back burner all the time.
How do you make that possible? You don’t want your kids to grow up and feel guilty that you didn’t spend enough time with them or you missed out on an important event. You can’t turn back time so it’s time for you to start FOCUS! What means the most to you? How can you create a to do list to help you stay on track toward your goals and what means the most. I WILL HELP!
I use to have 3 different projects going at one time. I felt like I couldn’t get anything done until the dishes and laundry was done! I HATE MESSES. Then a learned a few simple habits that have helped me create a more structured and organized life allowing me to actually feel accomplished and complete at the end of the day. It provided me MORE time to do those things I really needed to do for me. Like: exercise, spend time with my hubby, and maybe watch one show or movie here or there!
