Paralyzed? Eleven reasons you may be STUCK

Yes youDo you ever have so much to do that you don’t do anything?  Do you ever compare yourself to others and think there is NO WAY that I can do that? Do you ever think WHY ME?  Why now?  Do you ever thing if I fail I’M a FAILURE?  Well you are NOT alone!   Change your perspective and CHANGE your LIFE!

Our loses tend to paralyze us!  Would you agree?  In John Maxwell’s book “Sometimes You Win Sometimes you LEARN” he shares that there are 12 reasons why YOU feel paralyzed.
1.  Mistake – Being afraid of doing something wrong.  Our losses hold us back!
2.  Fatigue – Being too tired.  Our losses wear us out.
3.  Comparison – Someone else is better qualified than I am.  Losses cause us to feel inferior to others.
4.  Timing – This isn’t the right time!  Losses make us hesitate.
5.  Inspiration – I don’t fell like doing it right now.  Losses demotivate us.
6.  Rationalization – Maybe it’s really not that important.  Losses allow us to lose our perspective.
7.  Perfection – There is a best way to do it and I have to find it before I can start!  Losses cause us to question ourselves.
8.  Expectations – I thought it would be easy but it isn’t.  Losses highlight the difficulties.
9.  Fairness – I shouldn’t have to be the one to do this.  Losses cause us to ask WHY ME?
10. Public opinion – If I fail what will others think of me.  Loses paralyze us.
11.  Self image – If I fail at this it means I’m a failure.  Losses negatively affect how we see ourselves.

Have you ever been caught in one of these traps?  I know I have.  However, you can get out.  Change your thinking and CHANGE your LIFE!  Have you ever noticed some people bounce back after a loss; while others continue a downward spiral?  Do you know what the difference is?  PERSPECTIVE.  Those people who bounce back realize that their loss is not the end of the world and that they can learn and move forward.  While those who continue the downward spiral see it as the end of the world and poor me.

What is your perspective?  Change your perspective and CHANGE your LIFE!  You can either let your losses paralyze you or you can learn from them!  Your choice….either way!Yes you
